that exactly happened to me on a bus window. Mine didnt fall of its starts as a buise and then dried bloud. then it goes away very slowly. I still have some but i got hit like... 2 months ago so it may look disgusting but it wont fall off.Smashed my index finger nail will it fall off ?

yeah. you should'nt do that it hurts!
It usually does but it depends on the case. But the nail usually grows back.
