What can i do with a corregated steel roof that leaks? It is caulked around nail holes.?

This is a corregated roof, with no holes, just recently primed and painted and leaking during a heavy rain. Every nail hole was caulked. Roof looks good, not sure why it leaks (it leaked before the painting and caulking. What can i do with a corregated steel roof that leaks? It is caulked around nail holes.?
depending on what it is on and how important appearance the appearance is..... you can use different types of roof coatings, depending on what type of roof and what effect you are looking for. the fibered aluminized stuff works good on corrugated tin roofs, and you put it on with a brush or roller and allow it to dry. it will fill cracks, etc you did not know were there....... be sure the roof cap is seated so the wind is not blowing up and under as wellWhat can i do with a corregated steel roof that leaks? Usually the nails or screws (better) have little rubber gaskets under the nail heads to prevent leaks. If the screws had those they may have been screwed in too tight, which will flatten the gasket instead of keeping it fluffy.
Check your lapping (make sure that the uppers over lap the lowers (basic issue but I had one on my old roof that was wrong).

Check to make sure that the roof panels are not cracked. I replaced mine after a hail storm. The roof looked good however it had hairline cracks that leaked. (Not Steal)

Last thing check the ridge vent area (the part that runs along the top and is generally capped). Ensure that it over laps properly and does not have any gaps.
they make a sealent for roofs like this, its like a tar. it is black and very sticky at first, if your going to apply it you need to use a old roller not a new one and some crapy cloths. it will still look good even after its done. i cannot remember the name but go to home depot and ask for steel roof sealent.
