Is it true that putting clear nail polish on a wart will remove it?

I have no idea, but I do know that ordinary wart-removal solutions are cheaper -- so why waste the nail polish? ........ :-D





[edit] Btw, the commercial wart-removal solutions do work, but they take a ridiculously long time. Because warts are caused by a virus, it's not a good idea to just remove them surgically -- the nice quick way. That would be too much like easy, or somethin'... and we couldn't have that! .... :-D





You have to kill all the virus inside the living wart, and that's the process that takes so much time. Would clear nail polish do anything to get at the virus inside?
