A roommate of mind recently contracted a case of nail fungus. Is it contagious to me and the others?

I have never had a problem with nail fungus. You might find some helpful info on http://medicalinfodirectories.com/cholesterolloweringlevelhighdiettestingrecipessymptomsremedytreatment/cholesterolloweringlevelhighdiettestingfood.html. I hope everything works out for your roommate.

Yes, it can be. The organisms can sometimes spread from one person to another

because these critters can live where the air is often moist and people鈥檚 feet are bare. I

have seen how they do this at http://nail-fungus-treatment.com/index.html.A roommate of mind recently contracted a case of nail fungus. Is it contagious to me and the others?

It depends on the fungal organism causing the infection. Some of the dermatophytic (mold-type) fungi can be spread quite easily, particularly in showers. Fungal yeast infections are not likely to be spread from one person to another under any circumstances. If you are not sure of the type, be cautious. Use disenfectant to clean the bathroom floors and tub/shower areas. Use some type of shower shoes...flip flops...when in the bathroom area until the infection clears up. Basic precaution is all that is necessary. No need to freak out.Just make sure your roomate gets treatment to clear up the infection.
Yes,scrub the shower %26amp; disinfect!
