How long does it take to become a Nail Technician?

It takes a total of 300 hours of education to be eligible to sit for the state board licensing exam, which you will need to do in order to become a licensed nail technician in SC.

Full-time programs in barbering and cosmetology usually last 9 months and may lead to an associate degree, but training for manicurists and pedicurists and skin care specialists requires significantly less time.
