When government entities Freddie and Fannie went broke why didn't congress look for any nails before filling them back up with money? When your tire goes flat, do you just fill it back up with air, or look to see if a nail is in it?
Politicians- ';let's keep throwing more air at it';
Rest of us- ';pull nail out, plug hole';
Congress has the word CON in it for a reason. When your tire goes flat, do you just fill it back up with air, or look to see if a nail is in it?
Everyone knew where the hole was months before they filled them back up with money. They bailed them out for same reason the filled the banks back with money with the $700 billion bailout bill, the money lost did not belong to them, but to investors and other financial institutions and giving them the money prevented the financial system form collapsing.
If the real cause were ever to get out people would be storming the nations Capitol .
SO we blame it on the poor who never should have gotten the loans to begin with right .
Thats what we have been told . Liberals forced them to make bad loans to people .
Thats as far from the truth as possible .
Why when Uganda has a drought and its people suffer it only effects them locally ???
See at the top of the ladder sit wealthy people who profit from loaning money . Since we have gone to a world market they sought to bundle loans and sell them abroad . The only way to keep America growing now that we do not make anything was to create profit out of money and that only comes from workers which we have few of today .
With no houses being built whats the need for Architects , engineers insurance companies , heavy equipment operators , road builkders and the like to exist . Build government projects paid by what taxes .
When people do not manufacture -then we have problems . In the short term profits went through the roof for a handful of owners and CEO';s of major companies as we moved our jobs to cheaper labor markets .
The middle class refinanced their homes and have spent the money living on a tight budget based on retirement benefits .
Well we can not pay these benefits and so the companies must go under . So we needed to create a crisis . Since the governments only job is to protect the rich how best to do this .
force the poor to pay for it . Blame it on them . Over them the American dream and at the same time make billions building homes knowing we would bundle mortgages and sell them abroad to unsuspecting foreigners . Well the problem is we created the currency the world trades . And we have wasted the billions we have printed .
Wait and see how deep this financial crisis is . We will have a lower standard of living that will last two or three generations thanks to most of the wealth ending up in the pockets of a few rich people who enjoy being in control of everything .
Bring back unions to protect workers and their families , A higher tax bracket for millionaires of 80% and capital gains taxes of 75% because making money off money is not the answer . People who think profiting like that need to be penalized .
They (congress) are the nails, metaphorically speaking.
Nice analogy. I almost answered your first question--glad I read on.

What is the best way to deal with a ripped nail when it goes part way down, i have a plaster on at the moment?
its too far down for a nail clipper, do i have to keep the plaster on for a weekWhat is the best way to deal with a ripped nail when it goes part way down, i have a plaster on at the moment?
Take the nail down as short as possible to avoid any more trauma - if it is sore or bleeding then i would suggest a plaster. If the tear is not far down then it shouldn't take long to grow out. What is the best way to deal with a ripped nail when it goes part way down, i have a plaster on at the moment?
Try a dab of crazy glue to stop it tearing.

My acrylic nail came off and it is green?
Does anyone know anything about putting vicks on yor nail? I think water got under my acrylic nail and now it is green. I heard that vicks works. Or is this something a dr. should look at?My acrylic nail came off and it is green?
what you do is you clean this off and use a nail board also. you have to put this med on you buy from the nail store. it helps andit says what it is. green means its got fungus and clean it off good and use acholol if you have it *(rubbing) and then if you use a good glue to put on nail glue and keep them clean cause if they get water they will mess up but if you get it under the nail can cost lots of money to clean it up with doctor. My acrylic nail came off and it is green?
YOUR SUPPOSE TO GO STRAIGHT TO DOCTOR WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!! YOU HAVE BODY FUNGUS AND IT WILL SPREAD THROUGHOUT YOUR BODY! IT HAPPENED TO MY FRIEND. %26amp;%26amp;IT IS HARD FOR ME TO TALK ABOUT. I HOPE I HELPED YOU. :[skin care

I lost my big toenail ..Is it safe to wear nail polish on it while it regrows?
There is a thin nail underneath (or maybe that was wear my nail had been) and a thick area near the cuticle.I lost my big toenail ..Is it safe to wear nail polish on it while it regrows?
Yes, it is perfectly safe and a great way to disguise your unsightly nail as it grows out! I have lost more than my share of toe nails - most typically the smallest ones from 'breaking in' new shoes but from dropping heavy objects on them as well! :) As long as there is no open sore and it's not a fungus that caused it to fall off you should be just fine...I lost my big toenail ..Is it safe to wear nail polish on it while it regrows?
i wouldn't..I've lost 3 toenails over the years and I've let them heal completely before adding any polish...Just be patient...and baby that toe...keep it clean and make sure you don't stub it..Once when I lost a toenail the 1st time, my family went to the beach that wknd and I had to keep my foot out of the sand !! That was horrible..I wanted to get in the water so bad!
I don't see the problem, I've lost some toe nails but (I'm a guy duh just look at my picture(not meaning to offend you)) just make sure you don't get any infections and wash on a regular basis. hope i helped :D
I think you should leave it alone until it heals . You could have so many very bad infections if you start putting polish on it.

How come my nail polish messes up after it's dry?
It's dry I know it's dry %26amp; I've done the finishing oil (which I do take extra care of self) %26amp; anything almost the nails touch,it leaves an impression on them. It's good nail polish %26amp; good top coat. What can I do? I don't want to go ';fake';...
Thanks
PS, no nails were broken in the posting of this question. How come my nail polish messes up after it's dry?
I think the fancy word for it is friction. When the polish is wet you are careful of what comes in contact with your nails. But when it dries...well they're fair game. How many times a day do your finger nails brush or bang up against something in the course of normal life. Also when they're wet they tend to shine more than they do when they dry. Good luck to you and be careful when you shove your hands into your purse or your pocket. How come my nail polish messes up after it's dry?
I know that you said it's definitely dry, but maybe you just need to wait a little longer for the nail polish to harden. Just because it's dry doesn't mean that it has gone hard yet so it can still get impressions.
Maybe you need to buy a quick-dry spray? They are very effective.
Sometimes its dry to the touch but the layers underneath the top are still wet. This is when my polish seems to dent and pull the easiest. What I've found works best is using a quick dry top coat (sally hansen instadri, orly in a snap, seche vite, etc). and doing my nails right before bed - after I've brushed my teeth and changed into my pajamas and all that.
It's a conspiracy to get you to use mass quantities of nail polish. I use Sally Hansen because it dries FAST. It鈥檚 also cheap. But it鈥檚 dry quickly enough that I can even use it on my dog without worrying about her licking it off while it鈥檚 wet. (eeuuww!)
It must be a cheaper brand of nail polish. I used to have the same problem. you dont need to buy the most expensive brand, but the cheapest ones will usually do exactly that.
Wait a Little Longer, even though they seem dry it acutally takes 30 minutes for nail polish to dry in properly.
oh, even when i get a manicure the nail polish doesn't last for 5 seconds. [sob]
Too much polish, probably. Try going thinner on the layer next time.
try gloss paint or mix it with WD40
Thanks

How long does it take to gain a NAIL LICENSE?
Where is a good place in Massachusetts or North Carolina to gain a certificate or license. How many weeks or hours are involved? How long does it take to gain a NAIL LICENSE?
I'm not sure about in Massachusetts or North Carolina, but in Texas I obtained mine in 6 months. The course is 600 hours. Check with your state's department of licensing and regulation or the state's cosmetology commission. Texas Cometology Commission was done away with and now the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations oversees manicurists, cosmetologists, etc. Hope that gets you started on the right foot!! :)

Can you paint fake french tip nails with nail polish and not have it look tacky?
can you take the polish off with acetone and not damage the fake nail? Can you paint fake french tip nails with nail polish and not have it look tacky?
You should try using basturma to apply the nail polishCan you paint fake french tip nails with nail polish and not have it look tacky?
i think anything on a fake nail besides a french looks terrible. It looks like an old lady or like eek gross i dont like it. Yes, you can use nail polish remover without damaging the fake nail just dont soak your nail in it cause then it will go under the fake nail and loosen the glue. Just keep the french, it looks the best.
I do think it will look tacky, and yes it damages the nail it makes look non-shiny.
Yes you can. I have several clients that will put a coat of nail polish on to save a week on getting a fill done. Don't use a lot of polish remover or it will remove some of the acrylic.
